I agree on the RPG levels, but where does it say that L2 won't have game levels?!
In addition, how is that going to work? Checkpoints? Quicksaves? And how are you supposed to survive with the entire game's damage applied and no chance to heal? And how are you supposed to travel the island like in L1?

No levels?!
Are you talking about RPG levels, or game levels?

I'm probably way out of my league, and I'm sure that a lot of whatever I'm going to say has been said before, but whatever. RPGs are fun, but when ported to the computer they loose so much of their flavor: the ability to do anything and the ability to have intelligent discussions with NPCs (or semi-...

I love it when I flip over an opponent and perform a tracheotomy. It's simply beautiful.

Macaddict sent me an email saying something like "Urgent reply needed: Macaddict requests permission to include Lugaru on the April 2005 disc" I just sent an email back giving them permission. Same for the May disc, except they also requested permission to mention it in an article. Wow. :...

Which is where I got the demo. :D
How did you manage to get it in there? Wasn't it difficult? I mean, tons of Mac publishers are practically begging Mac Addict to review/advertise/give out a demo of their program. Lugaru is a good game and all, but it's hardly from a well known company.

Dual weapons would be cool. As long as it would be an option for both the PC and the NPCs then it probably wouldn't be a problem. Not that I would ever use it, of course. I'm kind of a single knife rabbit. 8) It would be cool to be loaded down with knives though, and be able to fling a bunch of them...

Please note that I'm not trying to start an argument, in spite of my rather cynical remarks.
I'm just wondering if this game would be a good investment of my time, and money. :D

Dazzle me

Go on. Do it. Why the heck should I buy this game? Gimme reasons. Lot's of em. It just seems just like any other 3rd person kung fu game, except the controls are more logical. Still gotta practice insane hours to get the move "just right", gotta have god-like reflexes, and some of the move...

I could go along with a Lugaru 2, but I'm against the whole "finding a new family, and settling down again" thing. I'd rather he be scared for life, go into solitude, learn to fight with two weapons, and develop psionic talents. That would be more realalistic. I mean, how else are you gonn...
