He didn't say anything. What he typed is written in front of you. Lol Ah, good sir, I see you are your usual self today. ...Apparently "more observant than BwS", "more intelligent than BwS", etc, are all "usual" for you, Renegade. Congrats (not that that's an exception...

I like using humanoid animals in games because they are close enough to real people to identify with them, but distant enough that there are less ethical issues with killing them (and stabbing their dead bodies repeatedly). I dunno about you guys, but I'd sooner kill a human than a wolf or rabbit i...

Bad reasoning, Renegade. All female leopards have breasts. They're females. I think you meant to specify that it's a _humanoid_ female leopard. It depends on what translation you get.... Unlikely, since the "song" isn't Japanese. It's Engrish (which only adds to its ability to drive me ins...

As you can tell, lugaruperson, you've got nothing about which to worry in terms of "being a loser" on the forum.

That wasn't social commentary. He was advertising Spice and Wolf again. That ending theme drives me INSANE.

...That doesn't sound difficult to locate. I mean, unless it's a different floor from your own, three hundred feet below you or the like.

Yay for ginormous and useless quoting! Woot!

Makrond, sounds to me like your primary goal is just more open-ended gameplay in general. AI developed with that focus in mind doesn't necessarily have to be _realistic_.

...because if the AI groups were randomly distributed between all the NPC's on the level, there would be clearly unrealistic situations. For example, a Navy SEAL running away whilst a civilian picks up the nearest firearm and tries to take on your enemies? Well, of course. Basically, the NPCs would...

Are you trying to describe AI personality types that can be placed onto different units? I think that works better than the randomness method described earlier by Grayswandir (I think it was him): with that system, a given NPC might randomly act in complete terror in one situation and overboard reck...

Wait, wait, Colicedus is _finally_ gone? Wow, only BunnyWithStick left to clear and the forums might actually be worthy of my return. No, I haven't been lurking. After geyser posted here and mentioned Oni, with a link to the Oni forums , I moved over there, amazed to see a thriving modding community...
