And a tank.
Does the tank also support the super-glue cover system? If it has no armor and no cover maybe you are safer on foot.

Re: Inventory System In OG

I don't understand why people don't want a inventory system because it's 'unrealistic' Since when do bunnies stand up right and fight? You are getting something wrong here. You have to understand the difference between 'real' and 'realistic'. Real means just like the real word. Realistic means cohe...

Scars, anyone?

Hey guys, I just got an idea influenced by the weapon-carrying-over thingy propsed by Jeff in the inventory thread although it is a really thin relation, I admit. First two prepositions: In Lugaru I was impressed by how your injuries show. Having been sliced by a knife or slashed by a wolf you can s...

Re: Why\How April die

Yea but i am from Bulgaria she's maybe the smallest country from Europe doe's you speak Bulgarian? Don't believe him. Bulgaria is by far not the smallest country in Europe. There are several others, who can be noticed to be much smaller by just a short glance on the map, namely Belgium, Makedonia, ...

Re: Cat, dog, wolf society

That is an interesting topic, but I think you can't map those numbers one to one to anthropomorphic animals. I remember zapping into an interview with a evolution psychologist who was explaining, that because of our relatively big brain (and therefore big head), humans give birth to childs, that are...

Re: The Big Bang theory...true or false???

Now you're just playing with words. I could say you have something with nothing, because of the concept of nothing, therefore having something. Sorry, but the one playing with words is not me, but you. [..] if I have 0 dollars, I have nothing. This sentence is your play one words. It is certainly t...

Re: The Big Bang theory...true or false???

The surprising difference between nothing and zero is, that zero is not nothing, which is the absence of something, but more a state of balance as in enough of positive and negative something to equal out. Cept that if I have 0 dollars, I have nothing. That, dear Sir, is not true. Because you know ...

Re: Distributed, crowd-sourced level building

If I understood you the right way, Git is something like SubVersion or CVS?? Why come I never heard of that? Ah, Wikipedia tells me it's for the Linux-Kernel and it seems it is not fully cross-platform. Do you know how well it runs on Win and Macs? Although the distributed aspect sounds nice, if it ...

Re: The Big Bang theory...true or false???

Because the word 'nothing' was used twice in this context already, I wanted to contribute to this really enlightening discussion (maybe the topic should be changed to SPF-Spam-Thread). The Big Bang is not necessarily the explosion of nothing, but more likely the explosion of zero (As in zero or rath...

Re: Invisible walls

Invisible walls shatter suspension of disbelief. ... invisible walls would just break that completely. I feel the solution used in the original Lugaru was entirely adequate. Lugaru did have straight up invisible walls. ;) This is what baffles me about the intense rhetoric in this thread. In the 680...

Re: Invisible walls

I would like to see something like endless repeating or random terrain. I think it would add greatly to the realism. If a player really feels like exploring untill the end of the map and doesn't pay attention from which direction he came from, he will just get lost. That is realistic, isn't it? If y...
