Still but they could atleast tell us. I know how to get to the editor just not attach stuff. I read through the whole wiki and no where found anything about attachments and attaching stuff via ALTJaz wrote:They don't expect us to use it and they have no reason to tell us how. The alphas are offered freely as gifts alongside our preorders. We have not been asked to test, we are all testing because Wolfire allowed us to.starsoccer9 wrote:how the hell do i equip the armor. However, modders may offer information, as proven by the Wiki.
For your information, the armour is likely equipped through the In-game Editor which is accessed through ESC. Find it in the item selector menu and then drop it. Click Alt and attach it to wherever you wish on your character.

For those who want it, to equip the new armor, you can add it to the game by going into the editor, then clicking the "Load Object" button
Note: ALL items are attached by selecting an object and holding alt + clicking. Weapons, collectables, item, waypoints, sheathes, (even the bones in the old animation editor) etc.
Also, Last often updates his O2 tab mod when new items like this are released, so I expect we'll see these there in the near future.
(Or "Load Item" - they do the same thing), Then Click "Load External Object", then navigate UP one folder to Data/Items/gear/rabbit_gear/large_wood_plate.xml and then click on the ground to place the object:
Then select the object by double clicking, then hold Alt/Opt (Win/Lin/Mac) and click the appropriate circle corresponding to the placement you want the armor:

Make sure that you are updated to a191, and then make sure you use the exact path: Data/Items/gear/rabbit_gear/thelukester wrote:i did everything u said but mine are still just floating props not able to attatch like a sword or bag help?
If you use the version in Data/Objects/Gear/rabbit_gear/ then you are using the base model, and not the version with physics. (NOTE: this is the default location when you load an external object. You have to GO UP one folder to get the the items folder)
You'll know that you did it correctly if the spawn box is WHITE and not BLACK, and that the object has physics as soon as you place it.

LOL. the plates can fall off, i was flipping around like usual when a new update comes out, and BOOM. i land on my face, and 1 of the armor pieces fell of!(i had like 5 on)
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a191, weekly build
The plate coming off Is a little glitch that happen, if you look at his right hand it is closed like he is holding the plate, you can drop it like you drop any other weapon when you get knocked out or killed.shadowb297 wrote:LOL. the plates can fall off, i was flipping around like usual when a new update comes out, and BOOM. i land on my face, and 1 of the armor pieces fell of!(i had like 5 on)

I noticed that if you crouch while wearing full armor, blocking and you opponent has a knife you can block attacks as they will collide with the armor pieces. And sometimes it will even knock off the armor.
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a191, weekly build
PLease tell me that you are going to make these add realistic armor qualities, in your awsomeness.
Like wood that blocks projectiles but snaps againts hammers, and iron that weighs you down and lowers your agility and jump height!? plEASE samurai bamboo like the stuff you have already made, that blocks daggers quick attacks and other light slashes. YOur programming is awsome I know you can do it . When you can.

Go back to last weeks videos on their channel and find out. They told you how to do it in that one. Just note it down and quit whining!starsoccer9 wrote:how the hell do i equip the armor. Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a191, weekly build
How do you go into the customization screen for the weapons, armor, and rabbits?
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a191, weekly build
There are a few different customizations depending on what you are looking to do.Heroman21 wrote:How do you go into the customization screen for the weapons, armor, and rabbits?
u - brings up the parameter editor for the characters, where you can change attributes of a character
ctrl/cmd+p - brings up the color picker tool, which allows you to color any object or item EXCEPT characters
ctrl/cmd+shift+p - brings up the palette editor, which allows you to edit the colors of characters, which has 4 layers of colors you can customize
I made a post here about how to add armor to a character: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=16416&start=15#p174552

By editing characters, though, you can make the armored characters slower/tougher/whatever.
