i don't feel like a little bit or "less lethal" projectiles would really be a downer on the game espically with the erratic movments of the bunnies.
i don't think the game is really that oriental focused , i mean just look at the sword , that is not an oriental sword (lugaru 1 refrence) So i don't think shurikens would fit... especially not 6 (reminds you that lugaru 1 had you carrying a maximum of 2 daggers at once one unequiped one in hand)
speaking of one equiped one in hand! ta da! quiver takes up "unequiped" slot , bow takes up "in hand" slot. having done archery, a NORMAL quiver holds about 12 arrows, max.
I imagine pithy-little wooden arrows which would be incapable of killing but would do decent damage if undetected and basic damage detected.

As far as I know, historically bows and arrows were never used in one-on-one combat. They have a very slow rate of fire, are difficult to aim, and are not always instantly lethal even if you do get a direct hit. Furthermore, holding a bow impairs one's ability to defend oneself in melee or to run away.
Thus, I think realistically implemented archery wouldn't have much of an effect on gameplay because using a bow would generally be a bad idea.

I think that is a logical and well-enforced point he/she makes. I would agree with it.Feral Youth wrote:As far as I know, historically bows and arrows were never used in one-on-one combat.
