Debug issues (Maybe it's vista?)
I've been trying to save the config.txt document so I can have the debug on Lugaru, doesn't seem to be working though.
Any solutions? I could be just skipping something, but I'm not sure.

Yup, in Vista, the config.txt file is stored in another location. I don't have Vista handy right now, but it's something like
users / admin / app data / local virtual store / program files / lugaru / config.txt
users / admin / app data / local virtual store / program files / lugaru / config.txt

that's odd. I've got vista and I never had any trouble.

I do know where the config.txt is, I just seem to not be able to save the changes I make to it.Jeff wrote:Yup, in Vista, the config.txt file is stored in another location. I don't have Vista handy right now, but it's something like

I assume you'd have to right click on the folder its in and change the properties so that everybody can change the files... it's a vista security thing so that non-admins dont screw things up... though it's kinda annoying when you -are- the admin and you have to change the settings so that admins can access it =/

I'll do thatOzymandias wrote:I assume you'd have to right click on the folder its in and change the properties so that everybody can change the files... it's a vista security thing so that non-admins dont screw things up... though it's kinda annoying when you -are- the admin and you have to change the settings so that admins can access it =/
*Changes properties*
*Saves Config.txt and closes it.*
*Opens Lugaru*
Still not getting debug mode, how odd.

-The same exact thing is happening to me, even when I change debug to 1 using wordpadpyros soul wrote:I'll do thatOzymandias wrote:I assume you'd have to right click on the folder its in and change the properties so that everybody can change the files... it's a vista security thing so that non-admins dont screw things up... though it's kinda annoying when you -are- the admin and you have to change the settings so that admins can access it =/

Re: Debug issues (Maybe it's vista?)
you have to save it in PLAIN TEXT format. this issue really should be stickied. the other thing might be that, vista does save the file in a different place. try saving it onto the desktop, and then moving it back into the data folder. it should replace the file.

Re: Debug issues (Maybe it's vista?)
Since files can't have the same name and be in the same folder, creating a file with the same name would replace it anyway, so moving it onto the desktop and back again wouldn't help very much.
