I had seen it a while back and thought it "just looked like a new Lugaru"... Turns out that's almost what it was! Then I got it in the recent March 2018 Humble Monthly.

I received the Pre Order and the full game through the February Humble Bundle for Sid Meires Civilization VI and the two DLC, and definitely plan on playing soon

I had my eye on this ever since I saw it in middle school, occasionally checking on on its' progress. Only till recently, I saw it again in the Humble Bundle so I just had to buy it along with the Dark Souls 3 DLC.

Same story here. Really glad I got it though, I've played it more than Dark Souls 3 so far.underfire wrote:Yup, same here.ThePillCosby wrote:I wanted Dark Souls 3 and got it in the March HumbleBundle monthly.

I heard about this all long ago, with the first comic released. Didn't know there was a game until some time after, and planned to buy the game later on, but the Humble Bundle provides

Re: How did you find out about Overgrowth?
I knew about Lugaru a long time ago, around the time of Receiver. Around 2015, one of my college classes involved modding an open source game and I chose to modify the camera tech of the available Lugaru source. In researching this project, I read up on some of the dev diaries of Overgrowth. It was interesting to watch the development of new level building tools and procedural animation techniques while simultaneously trying to parse the old, pre-HD 2005 codebase. Anyway I kind of slept on Overgrowth for a while, it just faded from my view as time went on. I was excited to see the 1.0 Release, but I did not get around to it until it showed up in my Humble Monthly. I know how much love and time went into this game and I'm really happy to see it getting support.

I'm toying around with learning Unity and I saw this post:

Which had a reply which linked here:

And I read that, not knowing what overgrowth was, and saw you had a comic. And I read the comic, and about the time the bunny monk get's his hands crushed by the idol, I knew this was something special and shared it with two friends. After watching the gameplay footage, combined with the quality of the comic, I figured this is a game worth supporting so I bought a copy.
