Ragdoll physics' amazingly uber awesomeness is in adding momentum to damage, and the finishing punch is by far the best example of that. Get a wolf's attention, wait for him to do his stupidly fast dash towards you, and hit him with a corpse -- preferably a wolf corpse, cuz they're heavier than rabbits. If you do it right, and he's coming downhill at you and you hit the corpse upward at him, he'll usually go flying ridiculously high into the air for a good five, six seconds before he lands somewhere behind you with a *SPLAT!*
Similar fun can be had with a staff, when you do the downward smash attack against a mid-air opponent who's already falling downward. He'll bounce off the floor and fly up for almost as long as the aforementioned wolf.

I did the "finishing punch" (I never called it that before) to a dead body and it hit the corner of a box, it bounced off and went flying into the sky. I did the rest of the level like normal, and the dead body fell on me just as I killed the last guy, which killed me and sent me flying up into the air.
Excellent!
I've had orbiting bodies fall near me but never on me; too bad it's impossible to predict so you can get a screen.
I've tried to maneuver under them if I see them, but it's harder than it appears at first. It's not that easy to look straight up and adjust your position properly.
And any time I managed to get in the way, they seemed to pass right through me. Maybe the difference between a dead and unconscious foe.
I have gotten some nice GIFs of bunnies leaping after T when he jumps down from Level 10. The best so far is one where the body lands right behind his back; T is holding his side (it can be hard on you jumping from that high) and he jumps into defensive position when the body hits, then relaxes again.
It almost looks like he's thinking: 1)"Man, that one really hurt. I gotta get a ladder or sumpin'." 2) "WTF was that!?" 3) "Oh, just another dead body falling out of the sky. They sure have weird weather in this desert."

Yes, you can reverse attacks with your back to the foe!
Rather than double post in Wolf Attack, here are some GIFs of blocks and reverses performed with T's back to the attacker.
The leg sweep reverse (I left the difficulty and map editor notices on for verification in this one):
The block, followed by a leg sweep:
The spin kick reverse:
And the one nobody talks about (well, almost nobody), prolly 'cuz it's more a dodge - the leg sweep jump:
All GIFs were made with debug on, normal speed, no map editor, no console commands, CL 4. And I did not turn around real fast just before he attacked!
Update: To test my theory that blocking, countering, and reversing with your back to the enemy is a viable strategy, I just defeated the lone wolf in the first Heading North scene in the campaign, using nothing but damage dealt via reversed spin-kicks. In fact, I killed him with a reverse KO.
